The Story

My journey with photography began over a decade ago with a borrowed camera and a curiosity about how light shapes our perception of the world. What started as a casual hobby quickly evolved into a passionate pursuit of visual storytelling.

Based in Belgium, I find inspiration in the contrast between the natural beauty of the Ardennes and the urban sophistication of cities like Brussels, Antwerp, and Ghent. This duality influences my work, which spans from serene landscape photography to dynamic street scenes.

I believe that great photography is about patience, observation, and the willingness to wait for that perfect moment when light, subject, and emotion align. Every image tells a story, and I strive to capture not just what I see, but what I feel.

Philosophy

Photography, for me, is a meditation on presence. It requires slowing down, observing deeply, and connecting with the environment. Whether I'm waiting for the golden hour in a mountain valley or navigating the chaos of a city market, the camera becomes a bridge between myself and the world.

I prefer natural light and minimal post-processing, believing that the best images come from careful composition and timing rather than heavy editing. My goal is to present the world as I experienced it, with all its nuance and authenticity.
